You are responsible for supporting your account teams to operate efficiently and to deliver a professional and effective service to your clients. You will engage with clients via email and telephone and will be expected to maintain excellent standards of service at all times

Description

In this Social Media Executive role, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Understanding your clients' brand, products and services and a knowledge of respective Scopes of Work (SOW) for each
  • Working collaboratively with your team to provide the best client service possible and support delivery and administration around Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Ensuring that you are working within your allotted hours per client and completing your timesheet (via Harvest) on a daily basis
  • Support and advise interns and PR assistants as required
  • Drafting spell-checked and grammatically correct copy and press releases to submit to your Account Managers for approval and subsequent submission to clients
  • Building your knowledge of traditional, digital and social media landscape relevant to each client
  • Maintaining your knowledge of industry sector by reading / following industry trade media
  • Compiling / updating media lists for client and central agency master media lists
  • Distributing approved media materials
  • Monitoring and recording all media coverage / posts and collating professionally to be sent to clients on a daily basis (or as required per specific client)
  • Developing relationships with key media
  • Leading on compilation of reports, agendas, meeting notes, etc.
  • Supporting team and wider agency on new business research, pitch preparation
  • Attendance at key all agency / division and team meetings as required

Profile

The successful candidate for the Social Media Executive with have the following experience and qualifications:


* Degree level qualification, or equivalent
* Previous Public Relations agency or in-house role or similar industry experience (at least one year)
* Digital and social media prowess
* An active interest in their client sectors - restaurants, food, drink & travel
